How to Apply to Lorain County JVS High School

    • Click Apply Now

    • Select High School Students Apply Online Now

    • Click Create a New Account (to the left of the parent login)

    • Enter your personal and account information

    • Click Register & Begin

    • Complete Parts 1, 2, and 3 of the application

    • Click Save & Submit to District

    • Print a copy and return it to your school counselor

    Important:

    • A parent/guardian signature is required.

    • School counselors must submit your records before your application is considered.

    • Applications are reviewed after semester grades are received in January.

  • Lorain County JVS serves as an extension of 13 Associate School districts in Lorain County.
    Admission is based on:

    • Attendance

    • GPA

    • Credits earned during 9th and 10th grades

    To be on track for graduation and eligible for JVS:

    • Students are recommended to earn at least 9 high school credits before applying.

    • Students can earn up to 14 credits at JVS.

  • JVS also offers exploratory, hands-on programs for freshmen and sophomores.

    9th Grade Exploratory Lab: Structured, skills-based training to prepare students for upper-level Career-Technical programs.

    10th Grade Career-Technical Rotation: Explore multiple lab experiences and develop career-focused skills before choosing a specific program. For details on 9th/10th grade admission, contact:
