Message from Principal
A Warm Welcome to the 2026-27 School Year from Megan Champagne, High School Principal
As we begin another exciting year, I am reminded of what makes LCJVS such a special place. Every day, our students are challenged to think beyond the classroom, explore new possibilities, and connect their learning to meaningful careers and bright futures.
At LCJVS, education is more than textbooks and assignments. Through career-connected learning, students engage in authentic, hands-on experiences that develop both technical expertise and the workplace readiness skills employers value most—including communication, collaboration, problem-solving, professionalism, adaptability, and leadership. Whether students are working alongside industry partners, participating in work-based learning experiences, earning industry credentials, or solving real-world challenges in our classrooms and labs, they are building the confidence and skills needed to succeed in an ever-changing world.
Our commitment is to help every student discover a pathway that reflects both their interests and their natural aptitudes. Through innovative approaches to career exploration, students explore career possibilities, identify their unique strengths, and make informed decisions about their future. We believe every student deserves the opportunity to find meaningful work that inspires them while preparing them for success in college, apprenticeships, military service, or the workforce.
This year, I encourage every student to embrace new opportunities, challenge yourself to grow, and take advantage of the incredible experiences that make LCJVS unique. To our families, thank you for your continued partnership and trust. Together, we will create a school year filled with discovery, achievement, and lasting memories.
I am honored to serve as your High School Principal and look forward to another exceptional year at LCJVS.
