Welcome to a New Year of Career-Focused Learning

We're excited to welcome students and families to another year of hands-on learning and career exploration. Below you'll find everything you need to get started, from schedules to school resources.

Back to School: Events, Instructions, and Resources

  • Freshmen arrive at 2:00 pm with parents. Parents/Guardians will split from incoming freshmen upon arrival at 2:00 PM when parent sessions begin. Parents move to labs to rejoin their child at 5:00 PM

  •   Building is open 8:00 am - 3:00 pm

  •  Students with Last Names:    A-G     Begins at:  11:15 am
     Students with Last Names:   H-N     Begins at:  2:15 pm
     Students with Last Names:   O-Z      Begins at:  5:15 pm 

  • Please Complete the back-to-school registration forms:

  • The Lorain County JVS has waived fees for the 2025-2026 school year – this includes all program fees, the iPad fee, lunch and breakfast. The free meals will NOT apply to a la carte items and snacks – these items still need to be purchased. All fees from previous years at the LCJVS still stand.

    You do NOT have to fill out an online application for the Federal Free Lunch/Free Relief Program or a Free/Reduced School Meal application.

    • Juniors and Seniors who choose to drive will have to pay $25.00 for a parking permit (Sophomores will not be able to purchase a parking permit at the beginning of the school year).
    • Students who enroll in credit recovery will have to pay $125.00/semester cost.

  • Work pants or jeans (purchased on your own) with Uniform Shirts.  All "NEW" students will receive two (2) t-shirts and one (1) hoodie the first week of school.

    Questions about purchasing or ordered items need to be diercted to Markt Custom Apparel, please contact the vendor directly, at (740) 397-5900. 

  • We recommend that your child(ren) bring a pad of paper and a pencil/pen to  their first day of school.  If his/her instructors require any special  materials, it will be shared with them during their first couple days of  school. 

  • Any questions regarding bus transportation and times should be directed to your associate school bus garage.
