Reflections Salon is a fully equipped, on-site salon operated by the Lorain County JVS senior Cosmetology students under the guidance of licensed instructors. Open to the public, our salon offers a variety of hair, nail, and beauty services—delivered with professionalism and care in a real-world learning environment.

The Reflections Salon is Now Open to the Public

Salon Hours & Appointments – Dates are subject to change, due to school activites.

  • Salon Times are 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM

  • Chemical services must begin by 9:00 AM. All other services must begin by 10:00 AM. We appreciate your punctuality as it supports our students’ learning schedule.

  • Open Dates:

    • October: 15th, 23rd, & 29th

    • November: 6th, 12th & 20th

    • December: 4th, 10th & 18th 

    • January: 21st

    • February: 4th, 18th and 26th

    • March: 4th, 12th, 18th & 26th 

  • Location: Lower level of Lorain County JVS

  • Customer services are performed on a ‘first serve’ basis in the time allowed. No appointment is necessary.

  • Offering a variety of hair, skin, and wellness services, including:

    • Hair and Scalp Care

    • Chemical Services Retexturize 

    • Hair Color/LIghtener

    • Skin Care

    • Foot Care

    • Nail Care

  • All services are performed by senior-level Cosmetology high school students

  • Supervised by licensed instructors

  • Affordable pricing to support student learning. Prices subject to change upon consultation. Extra charge for longer and thicker hair. We do not offer extensive corrective color.

  • Payment options: Cash, check, or credit card accepted

  • A 20% discount is offered to Golden Buckeye card holers, military, LCJVS staff, and students.

  • We reserve the right to refuse service or suspend service at any time as deemed necessary.

  • Haircut – $8.00
    Haircut with blow dry – $10.00
    Shampoo, set, style – $8.00
    Up-do style – $8.00
    Blow dry, iron curl – $8.00
    French braid style – $6.00 and up

  • Scalp and hair treatment – $6.00

  • *Chemical services do no include haircuts

    Permanent wave – $25.00 and up
    Perm wave – $30.00 and up
    Spiral perm – $35.00 and up
    Chemical relaxer – $25.00 

    *Chemical process cannot be given if the hair/scalp analysis does not meet required standards.

  • *A patch test is required 24 hours prior to service.

    Permanent color (1 process) – $25.00
    Two process color – $40.00 and up
    Partial highlight – $20.00 and up
    Highlights with foils – $30.00 and up
    Additional color – $10.00

  • Facial – $15.00
    Brow arch – $3.00
    Lip/Chin hair removal – $3.00

  • Pedicure with foot and leg massage – $15.00

  • Manicure with hand and arm massage – $8.00
    Polish change only – $2.00
    Hand spa paraffin wax – $5.00

    *Shellac gel polish $5.00 additional
