PaySchools Alert for Lorain County JVS

Lorain County JVS uses PaySchools Alert to give families secure access to student lunch balances and fee payments—all in one convenient online system.

Important: Separate Accounts Required

If you already use PaySchools with your associate school, please note:
That account will not work for Lorain County JVS.
PaySchools requires a separate login for JVS lunches and fees.

To set up your LCJVS account, you’ll need:

  • A unique email address

  • Your student’s Lorain County JVS ID number

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Please contact your associate school directly. Lorain County JVS and PaySchools are unable to return these funds to you. 

  • Please contact the PaySchools help desk at 1-877-393-6628. For security purposes, Lorain County JVS staff does not have access to parent accounts. 

  • Lorain County JVS will participate in the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) program, providing all high school students one free breakfast and one free lunch each school day. To qualify, students must take the full meal, which includes at least ½ cup of fruit or vegetables. A la carte items—such as second entrées, smoothies, ice cream, sodas, juices, bottled water, chips, cookies, and crackers—are not included and must be purchased separately. Free milk is not provided to students who pack their own meals. No application or payment is required; all students automatically qualify.
