Prepare for careers in information technology and cybersecurity by learning to evaluate, configure, and troubleshoot computers, mobile devices, and networks. Explore operating systems including Windows, Mac OS, Linux, iOS, and Android. Dive into structured cabling, routing, switching, and secure wireless connectivity. Gain experience through the Cisco Networking Academy and hands-on cybersecurity challenges.

Students prepare for certifications including CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, and Cisco CCNA.

Digital Media Arts

Create, Animate, and Captivate in a Digital World

Digital Media Arts is an immersive, project-based course where students explore the intersection of creativity and technology across multilp digital disciplines – with a strong emphasis on digital cinema production and visual storytelling. Working in a digitally integrated computer lab and studio environment, students gain hands-on experience using DSLR and mirrorless cameras, professional lighting and audio equipment, and industry-standard editing software.

Digital Media Arts Program-Specific Details

Visual Communication Design

Design the Future – VIsually, Digitally, Creatively

Students use a state-of-the-art graphics lab and studio equipped with the same software and equipment used by today’s professionals in the field. They apply pricicples of image creation, management, and multimedia to create graphics for video, print, and web publishing. The program addresses everything from design techniques and digital graphics to web-based publishing and social media communications, including ethical and legal dimensions.

Through hands-on projects, students develop a professional portfolio and gain 21-st century skills in leadership, communication, and entrepreneurship to prepare for a range of careers in visual media.
