Career-Based Intervention (CBI)

Earn Credits, Gain Experience, and Prepare for Life After Graduation

The Career-Based Intervention program is designed for seniors who are academically on track for graduation and ready to enter the workforce. Students spend part of their school day employed in the local business community and earn high school credit for their work.

CBI supports personal and professional growth by blending classroom instruction with on-the-job learning. The curriculum reinforces responsibility, confidence, and career readiness while helping students develop important workplace and life skills.

  • Student Requirements

    This program is ideal for students who:

    • Hold a valid driver's license

    • Are physically able to work

    • Have a recommendation from school personnel

    • Can provide reliable transportation to and from work

    CBI students are expected to maintain employment throughout the school year.

    Economics/Government: 1 Credit
    Math: 1 Credit

    There are no tool kit or student fees associated with this program.
